I pity Secretary Devanadera for embracing the dark side. She had been an intelligent and was once a rising legal and political luminary. But now she had been corrupted by Mrs. Arroyo. She too has now to invent things just to defend her boss.

A woman at work has a daughter at college that was just diagnosed with H1N1. This woman is usually healthy but she will come into work with or without symptoms. I am obese, and have many auto-immune diseases, and are currently weaning off prednisone. I am 60 years old. Can you gauge how susceptible I could be in this situation

Hi Colin. The combat photogs I know are working with the media agencies; you might try applying with them. There are some photogs — as well as journos — who go into combat areas as stringers or correspondents, but not regular employees, of news agencies. I really wouldn’t recommend that, considering the risks involved.
