Moot Court


One learns by doing, so they say, so today we played justices and tried the case of Romulo Neri vs Senate. The question was, could Neri invoke executive privilege on the three questions the Senate committee on transparency wanted him to answer? The real Supreme Court said yes, he could. Our moot court didn’t issue a decision: the jury’s still out as far as we’re concerned.
