RP cases of A(H1N1) jump to 247

The number of cases continue to rise, and the health department is shifting into mitigation, from containment, mode. The public is urged not to panic; the virus is mild, and the seasonal influenza that we know and which has been around for years has been known to kill more people. Or dengue, for that matter.
But this pandemic comes at a time when many of our health professionals have gone abroad. I wonder how many of our local government units in the provinces still have a full staff of doctors and nurses to deal with this.
